St. John the Baptist Catholic School
St. John's School was est. in 1914 to provide a Christ-centered education to the Edgar Community.
Very proud of all our middle school students who competed in the annual NERR Forensics Tournament hosted at St John’s! The judges were impressed 🎙️ #stjohnschooledgar
The two Gospel options this Sunday: The woman caught in adultery highlights Jesus’ mercy, forgiveness, and the call to conversion. The Scrutiny Gospel tells of Lazarus' raising and features the Bible’s shortest verse: “Jesus wept.” Both reveal Christ’s power to restore and renew.
We live in a noisy world—constant notifications, endless conversations, and the hum of daily life. At Mass, in eucharistic adoration, and even in personal prayer, silence is where we truly meet God ![]()
