Praise the Lord through Prayer!

“Again, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.” Matt 18:19

Knowing you can always go to God with thanks, joys, concern for others and your own needs, and that he will always listen, is a blessing. To help children realize the strength they can find in prayer, is a big part of the Religious Education program.

Each year students are required to memorize prayers, based on their grade level. Throughout the school year the Catechists help students practice in class. And before the end of the school year each student must be able to recite or write the prayers they are assigned. Please help your children practice their prayers.

Kindergarten and Grade One: Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Hail Mary, Angel of God, Glory Be, Grace Before Meals, and Grace After Meals.
