All parents with students enrolled at St. John the Baptist Catholic School are eligible members of the Home & School Association.\u00a0 The purpose of this group is to help provide quality education for our students through parental involvement.<\/p>

Meeting & Meeting Dates
<\/strong><\/h3>

Home & School meets four (4) times during the school year.\u00a0 Meetings are held in the School Music Room in the lower level of the building and try to stay under an hour in length.\u00a0\u00a0Join us at a meeting to support the school and its students.<\/p>

Meetings during the 2022-2023 school year are currently scheduled as follows:<\/p>

  • Monday, April 17, 2023<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Current Activities and Fundraisers<\/strong><\/h3>

    Fundraiser proceeds that go back to the Home & School include but are not limited to the following:<\/p>

    • Seroogy\u2019s Chocolate Bar Sale<\/strong> \u2013 begins the third week of the school year; ends when all of the Seroogy\u2019s has been sold<\/li>
    • Wreath Sale<\/strong> \u2013 begins the first week of October<\/li>
    • Pancake Breakfast<\/strong> \u2013 late October \/ early November<\/li>
    • Parish\/School<\/strong> Benefit<\/strong> \u2013 Spring $20 Raffle<\/li>
    • Italian Dinner\u00a0 <\/strong>\u2013 mid-March<\/li>
    • Walk for Virtues<\/strong> \u2013 late April \/ early May (date determined by the Diocese of La Crosse)<\/li><\/ul>

      Home and School also supports school activities held throughout the school year, such as:<\/p>

      • Catholic Schools Week<\/strong> (starts the last Sunday in January)<\/li>
      • Christmas Program Social<\/strong><\/li>
      • Clothing<\/strong> Orders<\/strong> \u2013 anytime during the school year<\/li>
      • Grandparents<\/strong> Day<\/strong> (Spring)<\/li>
      • North<\/strong> East<\/strong> Rural<\/strong> Region<\/strong> (NERR) Quiz<\/strong> Bowl<\/strong> Competition<\/strong>\u00a0(hosted by St. John the Baptist)<\/li>
      • Teacher<\/strong> Appreciation<\/strong> Week<\/strong> (May).<\/li>
      • Veterans<\/strong> Day<\/strong> Program<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>
